One of the few lines from the short film "Salapid", my entry to then 4th University of Mindanao Film Festival on February 2015. 

 

 

The film won Best in Cinematography and Best in Screenplay in the said film festival.

​

This was my proper film debut as a director and co-writer, after my stint in the Guerrilla Filmmaking Workshop.  

​

Unlike my other projects, this film took me at least 5 months to prepare and complete the film. I remembered hustling through my already packed schedule of course works, thesis, and classes to attend to. I also used my rest days to shoot for more scenes in the film. I'm thankful for my friends and family for helping me out and supporting me to make this short film possible.
